Not everything in horology is about ultra expensive pieces, and sometimes quartz has its perks. There are some remarkable achievements in non-mechanical watches. Granted, they lack the “mystique of handmade pieces but they have quite a bit of research into them in order to achieve a level of precision that replique de montre simply can’t even fathom.
